Nova Onda Ceramics has been a long time coming. From countless surf holidays to working in the Algarve as a surf instructor, the country, the beaches, the food and its people have always held a special place in my heart. A visit to the local ceramic shops to pick up a few pieces was a must on any trip, but the problem — like it is for so many — was never being able to fit enough in your suitcase.

That pain point sparked the idea for Nova Onda: a place where we could bring those same beautiful pieces here to the UK, no flights needed. Opening Nova Onda has been a chance to share something I’ve loved for years. We hope that when you walk through the door, you feel a little of what I feel every time I go back — that unmistakable sense that you’re somewhere special. No suitcase required.
